Bradenton Runners Club

The Bradenton Runners Club, founded in 1989, is a community-based organization dedicated to the promotion of running and walking and improving health and well-being in the Manatee County area. BRC promotes healthy and enjoyable lifestyles through weekly club runs and social events, such as our annual awards banquet, picnic and pasta party.

The BRADENTON RUNNERS CLUB, INC. is organized to promote the sport of running and related activities. The club sanctions road races and cross country meets throughout the year. The club also sponsors social and charitable events.

Board Member Meetings

Board meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month and are open to the public to attend. Meetings start at 6:00 p.m. in the winter months and 6:30 p.m. in the summer months, and are held at Darwin Brewing Company , located next to McKechnie Field in downtown Bradenton. BRC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and is certified as tax exempt by the Florida Department of Revenue. The club is a member of Road Runners Club of America (RRCA Club #816) and USA Track & Field (USATF Club #14-1132).
