I ran track in high school — sprinter — and briefly in college (less than one season).
How long have you been running?
I’ve been running, off and on, for 50+ years. I haven’t run for the past two years due to a back injury. Outside of running, I engage in the following physical activities: weight training, biking, kayaking and swimming.

My favorite race is the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta, GA. Locally, I like the St. Pete Beach Classic and our own Manatee River Run.

At the age of 14, I was on a four-man team that set a national record for the 400-yard shuttle relay.
Why are you involved with BRC?
Until my injury, I was involved with BRC for the training opportunities (beach and bridge runs). Now, I continue my involvement to stay connected to the sport while I heal.

How have you seen BRC positively impact the community?
