Bradenton Runners Club promotes a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle through the sports of running and walking. We welcome all ages and abilities to our group walks, runs and social activities. All of our group runs and activities are open, and club membership is not a requirement. If you want to improve your current level of fitness and enjoy great conversation, try one of our group training runs and meet some of our members. Certified coaches and experienced runners and walkers are available to help you get started, as well as competitive runners to provide a challenge to those more experienced.

2017 BRC Racing Series &
Launching *** BRC Rewards ***
Bradenton Runners Club could not exist without the dedication and time so generously given by our volunteers. As an expression of gratitude, the BRC Board is proud to launch a new club volunteer “thank you” linked to our 2017 BRC Racing Series. The BRC Board has created a rewards program where BRC Volunteers will receive BRC Reward Points that can then be exchanged for club merchandise and/or club functions.

n Run on Saturday, Jan. 14th. This race is held at Anna Maria Island Elementary, 4700 Gulf N., Holmes Beach, and starts at 8:00 a.m.

The Dolphin Dash is a family-friendly 5k and 1-Mile fun run that starts and ends at Anna Maria Elementary School on beautiful Anna Maria Island. It’s a flat and fast out an back course through residential Holmes Beach. All proceeds from the race benefit the Anna Maria Elementary PTO.
We hope you join us for the 2017 Bradenton Runners Club Annual Awards Banquet held on Friday, Feb. 10th at 6:00 p.m. The Renaissance on 9th, located at 1816 9th St. W. Bradenton, FL 34205, will serve as the venue for the banquet.
For only $30.00 per person, guests will experience a lovely buffet-style dinner, including drinks and dessert, in the company of fellow BRC volunteers, runners and board members. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets. Tickets must be purchased no later than Tuesday, Jan. 31st.
The banquet serves as the opportunity to elect new club officers and to say bye some current BRC board members. We will also announce the winners of the 2016 BRC Racing Series and honor recipients of the 2016 BRC Recognition Awards. Help BRC pick the 2016 Recognition Awards recipients by nominating your running buddies for awards no later than midnight on Sunday, Jan. 15th, 2017. Thank you to the 400 runners who closed out 2016 with Bradenton Runners Club’s 16th Annual Manatee River 5 Mile Run – RRCA Florida State Championship Race at Emerson Point Preserve in Palmetto, Fl. This race is a Road Runners Club of America Florida State Championship Race, and was the last race of the year on the 2016 BRC Racing Series. Proceeds from the race helped BRC raise scholarship funds for local student runners.

On Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 24th, 2016, Bradenton Runners Club held the 19th Annual BRC 5-Mile “Give to Run” Turkey Trot at De Soto National Memorial. Thanks to the generosity of runners and local businesses, BRC raised $8,400 for Turning Points and The Food Bank of Manatee! Runners also donated 1,442 pounds of food Thank you for choosing to Give to Run, Bradenton!
